Within Australia there are many support services for bereaved families who suffer the unexpected loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, premature or neo-natal loss, or illness after birth. This resource aims to ensure that the grieving families, as well as their extended family, receive crucial information, care, counselling and support during this difficult and heartbreaking time.

The Seashore of Remembrance
The Seashore of Remembrance gives families the opportunity to honour a loved one who has passed away. Names are inscribed in the sand at sunset, and butterflies are drawn for babies, children and adults of any age or gestation.
HeartFelt
Heartfelt is a volunteer organisation of professional photographers from all over Australia, dedicated to giving the gift of photographic memories to families who have experienced stillbirth, premature birth, or have children with serious or terminal illnesses. They are available 24 hours.
